Islam is distinguished from other religions only because its teachings are from Allah and they have not been altered till this day. The word āIslamā comes from āsecurityā. There is security in every aspect of it. Security in life and the hereafter. All the religions other than Islam, no matter how good they look, have no value in the sight of Allah.
The teachings of Islam are so comprehensive and universal that from the very beginning till today, the people of every color, creed and society are eager to accept its teachings without any force and doubt.
Islamic teachings are so beautiful, comprehensive and simple, yet there is a huge gap in its public dissemination. People want to learn and read about Islam, but they are afraid of big books and commentaries onĀ hadiths. They prefer to refer to a single comprehensive resource. Itās a shame that our forefathers have made such efforts for their people but the next generation is completely unaware of it.
Allahās style and method is that He chooses from among His slaves the best of the scholars and gives them the special mission of conveying the Prophetās ļ·ŗ Sunnah. He makes them a means of preserving it.
It is by His grace to this Ummah (Muslim nation) that Allah has preserved its religion; to Him be praise for the greatness of His blessings. First and foremost among these upright scholars are the noble Companions (Sahabah), who learned the Revelation from the lips of the Messenger of Allah ŲµŁŁ Ų§ŁŁŁ Ų¹ŁŁŁ ŁŲ³ŁŁ and they learned his Sunnah directly from him without any intermediary; then they conveyed it in a precise and accurate manner to those who came after them to the Followers (Tabiāeen). Then the Tabiāeen transmitted it to those who came after them, until there came the time of documentation, when the Imams of hadiths compiled the books known as Jawami`, Masanid and Sunans, out of keenness to preserve the narrations of the Messenger of Allah ŲµŁŁ Ų§ŁŁŁ Ų¹ŁŁŁ ŁŲ³ŁŁ .They did not omit anything that had been transmitted from the Prophet ļ·ŗ but they recorded it, paying a great deal of attention to finding out about the narrators of the hadith, so as to distinguish and highlight those Hadith that had been narrated with Sahih isnads (sound chains of narrators).
Is it possible for us to see the Paradise that Allah has promised to the believers in this world as well?
Yes! It is very possible. but how? The answer is that Islam is a religion that teaches human beings the introduction of their Creator as well as the rules and regulations of mutual society. There is no doubt that all the teachings of the system like humanism, communism, socialism, etc, that have been implemented in this world revolve around the teachings of revelation sent down by Allah.
No other individual or religion can provide such a wholesome system. Creating a system that accepts the temperament of all human beings without any difficulty is not a matter for anyone other than Allah alone.
Therefore, the etiquette, morality, insight, living style, economy, government, state, rights of Allah and rights of people that Islam provides to a society are only the rules and regulations made by Allah. For this reason, all the systems of Islam are extremely useful for all ages and all kinds of human beings. Adopting them is the key to success in this world and the hereafter. Along with every Quranic verse and Hadith, there is a comprehensive note which explains the meaning of them in short.
What is the Islamic system of society, the rights of Allah and the rights of people on the basis of which a human society looks like paradise? To know this subject, the greatest benefactor of this ummah, Imam Nawawi Ų±ŲŁ Ł Ų§ŁŁŁ wrote a book entitled Ų±ŁŲ§Ų¶ Ų§ŁŲµŲ§ŁŲŁŁ (Riyad us saliheen) which covers all these topics.
